Work with us
We are always interested in good trades. If you turn up, do the work properly and clear up after yourself, you will get repeat work from us.
What we look for
The bar is not complicated. Turn up on the day you said, do the work to the standard, leave the site clean, and tell us early when something is going wrong rather than late when it already has.
We ask every subcontractor for public liability insurance, relevant trade certification, CSCS cards for site work, and a UTR or company details for payment. On occupied social housing, education and healthcare work we will also need DBS checks.
How we pay
Agreed rates or a priced package before work starts, and payment on the terms we agreed rather than when the client pays us. Being slow to pay subcontractors is how a contractor stops being able to get good ones — a short-term saving with a long-term cost.
