The Morley brief
For a Morley or Churwell house renovation, distinguish work that can be completed room by room from work that crosses the whole house. Moving heating, drainage or a staircase can affect several finished areas. A phased brief should explain those dependencies before promising that every room can remain occupied.
Preparation guidance, not a survey of your property. The location photograph shows the area; it is not evidence of work by ATR.
LS27 / 01
Draw the services before the phases
Bring to the conversationA whole-house services sketch and the proposed order of rooms.
Why this matters
Mark the route of new supplies and drainage through the building. Arrange phases around those routes so newly decorated rooms are not reopened for later connections.
LS27 / 02
Separate structural uncertainty from decoration
Bring to the conversationExisting surveys and a plan identifying uncertain wall construction.
Why this matters
Identify walls to be removed and areas where construction is unknown. Ask what survey or opening-up is needed before agreeing a fixed structural scope, especially where earlier alterations have no drawings.
The address matters
