The Northowram brief

For an older house in Northowram, Hipperholme or Lightcliffe, an extension should be designed around the existing floor heights, roof form and openings. A new room can be generous while leaving the connection to the original house awkward. Resolve that connection before concentrating on its finishes.

Preparation guidance, not a survey of your property. The location photograph shows the area; it is not evidence of work by ATR.

Compare floor heights and circulation

Bring to the conversationAn existing/proposed plan and section through the connection.

Why this matters

Specify the external junction

Bring to the conversationElevation photographs and a junction detail.

Why this matters
